WHY KUTUMB ? OUR MISSION

As my parents grow older in Lucknow while I’m based in Gurgaon, I often struggle with the inability to be there for them when they need me the most—whether it’s during an illness, when they need something, or simply for daily companionship.

I know many of us, now living abroad, face similar heart-wrenching challenges. Our parents devoted their lives to raising us, and now they deserve the same level of care and attention.

Inspired by a sense of divine consciousness, I am committed to treating all parents as I would my own, providing services in Lucknow that ensure they are supported, whether it's for medical needs, running errands, or simply offering companionship.

Mrs. Alpan Jauhari

My name is Alpan Jauhari, a proud alumna of City Montessori School, Lucknow, and a Literature graduate from Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), Delhi.

My journey began with a career at NDTV, but my passion has led me towards empowering and healing people through movement therapy and arts. I hold a PG Diploma in Dance Movement Therapy from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Psychology to further equip myself in this mission. I am also training in dramatics at the National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi.

My husband, a fellow Lucknowite who studied at La Martiniere, and I share a deep love for Lucknow, where our parents reside. Together, we are committed to serving the elders of this city we cherish

HOW WILL THIS WORK?

While we are developing world-class technology behind the scenes, we are committed to keeping things simple and accessible for our elders and parents.

As we expand, we will build a team of dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinators who will stay in regular touch with elders, ensuring that all their needs are met with respect and prompt attention.

About Me

I am a true-blue Lucknowite, now in Gurgaon, though my heart remains in Lucknow. With my parents still living there, I feel a deep commitment to serve not only them but also other elders who are alone in Lucknow. I am supported by my husband who is also a Lucknowite and a Martinian

Why Kutumb ?

I’ve chosen the name Kutumb because it means family, and to me, Lucknow is home, where all elders are part of my extended family. I am committed to offering trustworthy services for anything your parents may need.
